MEET HEATHER

Originally from a small town in Pennsylvania, I am a mom who has lived in Seattle for over 20 years. I learned about zero waste shopping from Scoop Marketplace, and I quickly bcame a student of Setaphanie Lentz, the founder of Scoop. I knew I waned to bring this incredible opportunity to my neighborhood in north Seattle. We love meeting our customers, building community, and learning as we go so that we all make more sustainable choices!

Our Mission

Our mission at Mimi's Zero Waste Market is to empower the Seattle city to shop for organic pantry essentials and personal care items sustainably. We encourage all our customers to bring their own containers, ultimately supporting our commitment to reduce waste. We are dedicated to ethical and sustainable sourcing, prioritizing local and BIPOC-owned suppliers, and we operate with respect on the ancestral lands of the Coast Salish and Duwamish Peoples.

While we recognize 'zero waste' as an aspirational goal, we are actively engaged in reducing the environmental impact of plastics and supporting our community in making healthier, greener choices. Join us in creating a more sustainable world, one product at a time.
